Love BAIPA? Join the Board and Help Guide our Future!

April 3, 2018 by Linda Jay Leave a Comment

BAIPA is an all-volunteer organization that depends on its members’ contributions. Interested in being part of the driving force behind BAIPA — the BAIPA Board of Directors? We meet monthly in San Rafael to review finances, plan programs, troubleshoot problems, and share ideas about BAIPA’s future.

We are now accepting applications for new Board terms that start May 1.

To learn more, talk to one of the current board members and/or fill out this Board Application.

You may also want to read the Statement of Commitment and Acceptance of Responsibilities as a Member of the BAIPA Board of Directors.

Thanks for considering this offer to be a part of BAIPA’s leadership.

Much appreciated!

Linda Jay
Experienced, versatile writer and editor. Other skills: interviewing, research, proofreading. Clients range from computer companies to academic institutes to authors of book manuscripts. When editing text, I make sure the final product is readable, lively, and succinct. In writing, I love to use my imagination and creative skills. I truly delight in, and have a passion for, working with words. Since 2009, I have copyedited more than 60 book manuscripts, for authors all over the U.S. and in other countries. Topics range from business to memoirs to novels to science fiction. I also edit promotional material and magazine articles. On the writing side, my specialty is writing profiles and feature stories for magazines (multimedia, art, education, business), Web site text, blogs.
