BAIPA Newsletter Guidelines

We publish a monthly newsletter. We are transitioning to a pdf format. 

Linda Jay Geldens is the Communications Coordinator and Newsletter Editor for the Bay Area Independent Publishers Association.

Submissions for the newsletter/website

Articles and artwork are due one month before the date of publication. 

Members who have areas of expertise — book design, grammar, and participation in book fairs — are encouraged to submit articles about their topic.

Bylines will be given.

Articles should be around 250 words.

Visual Artists are invited to submit graphic files for publication. Include a short description of your work along with your contact information.

Graphics

We accept graphics and photos in the following formats:psd, png, jpg, ai, and pdf.

Headshots are best for display online, at least 300 pixels wide.

Vector graphics can be any size up to 5 MB.

Newsletter Editor would like to write an occasional profile, spotlighting a particular BAIPA member.

Calendar of Events

Are you planning an event, book reading or something you think would be of interest to our members? Send us your event information and include:

Your name

The name of the event

When it will be held (date, time)

Where it will be held

A brief description of the event

Cost

How to submit your files
