Our March meeting is the same time as the IBPA Publishing University event on March 9-10. There will be a meeting in San Rafael for those unable to attend the Publishing meeting.
Because of time conflict with the IBPA university in San Francisco, we will experiment with a new format instead of having a presenter at our regular meeting.
9:00 - 11:00 will follow its usual pattern of Q&A, introductions and networking. "Ask-The-Pro" will run from 11:00-12:30.
Publishing professionals will be available for one-to-one consultations - while others interested in the general topic will listen in. You can attend as many circles as our schedule allows. This is an opportunity for in-depth support for personal projects. If a lot of people have questions, we will limit each questioner to 10 minutes, allowing 7 or 8 people time to explore any one area.
During your one-to-one time you may ask any question specific to your project - basically a free consultation. Those listening will be learning a tremendous amount because questions may address concerns they have not yet encountered - or that they thought they understood, but are hearing from a fresh perspective. This format can be an invaluable learning experience for everyone.
